Want to craft a virtual alter ego? Adidas has you covered

by Guest User

The Metaverse promises an immersive and augmented experience in the digital space however, transcending the boundaries of virtual worlds becomes challenging in the absence of interoperability across different virtual platforms. But, Adidas has you covered, through their latest campaign to transcend the physical realm. The sneaker giant has teamed up with 3D avatar generator platform Ready Player Me where “users can take a personality test to craft a virtual alter ego.” This platform will allow users to create Metaverse avatars that can be used to explore virtual worlds, try on sneakers, or be turned into stickers and GIFs. Not only does this initiative symbolize a spirit of experimentation and self-expression, but it also pushes the limits of interoperability across 1,500 different Metaverse apps and games.
